People still like how a paper book feels in their hand. How you can highlight a paper book or write in it if you want to.

However, in this digital age when ‘print’ is dying the knowledge around creating a book is disappearing. The skills of typesetting, physical book construction, binding, bleeds, and other aspects of physical book creation is becoming a lost art.

To write a print book, an author needs to know how to write for print rather than online, which includes how to author an index to the fourth post as required to create a physical book index (creating a book index is a profession in itself).

I began my career in the ‘print’ world and still enjoy the art of creating a real book.
